Big Fat Em’s

We’re really proud of this project! Our friend Emmie Del Borrello took on the courageous challenge of pledging to walk 60kms in a single weekend in April 2016 to raise much needed funds for research in to womens’ cancer in an event aptly names The Weekend to End Women’s Cancer. She didn’t realise at the time, but perhaps an even bigger challenge was the way in which she was going to fundraise.

Emmie has a culinary background, so her fundraising was naturally going to involve food in some way. The final outcome was delicious home made jams and condiments. horgancreative donated all of the creative work for this little (not so little as it turned out!) project including the branding, label design and social media campaign.

Within the first few weeks of Big Fat Em’s Facebook campaign, Emmie was able to pre-sell every single one of the three hundred jars she had set out to make. All that was left to do was fill the orders.

Everything was delivered on time, and there were plenty of very happy strawberry jam, lemon curd and chilli sauce connoisseurs! Emmie exceeded her fundraising goal in a short amount of time, and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to help out.

Good luck with the 60kms Emmie – that should be the easy part!
